About My Blogs

In 2011, when I began my doctoral research on the topic of multiethnic ministry leadership challenges, I found a surprisingly scant amount of helpful books written by Christians from a gospel-centered point of view. Thankfully, there has been a steady increase of books and articles on the topic. We can always benefit, however, from more gospel-centered content that can endure even as cultures, generations, preferences, and practices change over time.

What I hope to provide in my blogs are biblical principles, insights, and reflections that point to or flow from the truth of the gospel that makes all things new in Christ.

I plan to post some of my earlier writings (published and unpublished) as well as some content from a book I am currently working on (with a working title “How Pastors Flourish in Multiethnic Ministry”) that unpacks my DMin research findings for today’s context. I also hope to write some simple reflections and devotions that provide insights to God’s heart for and our participation in the multiethnic family of Christ as God’s new humanity.

My hope in writing is to provide biblical clarity and gospel insight that leads to an enduring conviction of and commitment to Christ’s love for his multiethnic church for which he joyfully gave his life.
